Taylor unhappy as Bookham get ‘stuffed’ by Camberley

A POOR second half condemned Bookham to defeat against promotion chasing Camberley Town.

After conceding early on, Bookham looked to be matching Camberley and looking for a way back into the game, but three second half goals, all from set pieces, left manager Andy Taylor fuming.

“We got stuffed,” he said.

“We just didn’t turn up. We started okay but then let in an silly goal after about 10 minutes. In the second half we let in three and they were all pretty poor goals to concede.”

However Taylor believes his side will improve.

“We are still learning,” he explained.

“After the first goal was conceded the players didn’t let their heads drop and it really looked like we might get a goal back.

“We will definitely be working on set piece in training on Thursday.”
