Crowthorne/Bracknell Fire - Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 2011

  I believe there has been an accident involving a police vehicle coming off the Easthampstead Road on a bend. There are fire engines in attendance and that is why the air ambulance is in the area.

  Looks like the fire has flared up again. Was over in Bracknell and could see a big plume of smoke rising above the trees and then driving through Crowthorne could smell and see the smoke - part of the Easthampstead Road is closed too!

  Further to my last, it appears that MANY fires have broken out and the police suspect a deliberate cause.

  Not sure - from what I have read there are four fires in the area and the fire fighters will be around for a couple of more days yet to make sure that they are well and truly out!
