A Five Star Doggie Hotel

I discovered this amazing company through an advertisement of theirs in a local newsagent's window. I had tried to get my dog into kennels for the weekend - only to find his Kennel Cough vaccination had run out and the kennels wouldn't take him without a current certificate - even though they'd had him just a couple of weeks previously and knew he was free from infection! After a quick phone call to "In The Dog House" and a promise from them to phone me back, I had an affirmative answer just 10 minutes later. Not only that, the owner, Marie, came to collect my Golden Retriever Sam, at a time that suited me took a list of Sam's likes and dislikes, do's and dont's and arranged a convenient time to bring him back. When she did, he had been groomed and was looking much happier than whenever I collected him from the kennels! Needless to say, I didn't bother sending him to the kennels any more! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend In the Dog House to anyone - it's not just a job to them, they have a deep and genuine love of dogs, and my dog was always delighted when Marie came to collect him, because he knew he was going to have lots of fun and company while we were away. If he was happy - I was happy. I've given this company a five star rating. It isn't really adequate - 100 out of 5 is probably nearer the mark. Give them a try - you won't regret it and your dog will just love it!
