So what is it like to live in the heart of Camberley in the modern new development that is the Atruim?  Having never lived in a town or an apartment, I asked a friend who recently moved to a beautiful new flat in the Atruim to let me know how they found living in the coolest new development in Camberley.  This is what he had to say:

“I’ve never lived in a town before, so didn’t really think that the apartments in The Atrium would be right for me. However I was so wrong!  From the moment I first looked at the apartment I fell in love with it.  The design of the apartments is amazing, giving you the feeling of a very stylish, modern, airy apartment with large bedrooms and ensuite bathroom.  The curved living room with its massive doors and windows provides fantastic views over the rooftops of Camberley, and with the sun streaming in for most of the day you feel that you are part of the outside world - perfect for coming home to at the end of the day and relaxing while watching the sun go down over the rooftops.  

The apartments are great for entertaining as the stylish modern open plan kitchen with built in appliances allows you to entertain directly from the kitchen area without leaving your guests to entertain themselves – ideal for anyone who enjoys entertaining from home as I do.

From the street, passers by can see the courtyard that the apartments are built around.  The courtyard is gated with a security code and has its own maintained gardens, which are a lovely place to sit for a quiet morning coffee on sunny days. The apartments have their own secure gated underground car park with lifts, so there are no worries about where to park or struggling a distance with bags of shopping from car to home.

Onsite in The Atrium there is also a very modern airy gym.  It has all the latest machines as well as free weights and a full timetable of classes.  A sauna for both the ladies and men is available - and for those who are residents in The Atrium, a discount is available on the standard membership fee.

Anyone who thinks that living in a town centre is noisy is so wrong - Camberley is very quiet at night and even in the day, with modern double glazing to all the windows you don’t hear any of the traffic noise at all.

Living in a town centre location has other benefits as well - on my doorstep are local restaurants, shops, multi screen cinema, and bowling alley.  All within less than two minutes walk from my apartment.  Think of coming home, and wanting to go out for supper instead of cooking at home, or evening going to the cinema.  No having to get in the car, finding somewhere to park - you just walk out of your door, and two minutes later you are where you want to be.  Imagine being able to go out, have a quiet drink in one of the bars or restaurants,  watch the latest 3D film in the modern cinema, and be back in your apartment having coffee before the film credits have finished rolling!  Absolutely fantastic!”
