This Thursday 18th February roadworks start on the A30 between the Agincourt and Tuscam Way. The plan is to widen the the A30 westbound to two lanes and may well last five weeks. Initially the work will start at night with temporary two way traffic lights for two nights. Then the work will take place during the day between the hours of 07.30 and 16.30 and it is proposed that the traffic on the A30 will be two way single file traffic throughout the roadworks. The final phase of the work will take place over three nights, again using temporary two way traffic lights.

If you want to visit MacDonald's, there will be a signed diversion as the entrance to MacDonald's from the A30 eastbound lane will be suspended for four weeks.
The Council ask that we allow more time for our journeys to and from Camberley and that we feedback any information to them relating to the roadworks using their online form.
More information about the roadworks can be found on the Council's website.

I hate that bus lane!!! Nobody knows when to use it and the few that do just use it as a way to push in at the Frimley Road junction. Get rid of it and sort out the A30 properly!!!

ReportLet's hope it improves the traffic nightmare on the London Road, and it doesn't get turned into another bus lane!
