Well just visited the Windsor Beer Festival over Saturday lunchtime, and could have happily spent the rest of the day there. About 40 ales and about 25 ciders and perrys to try. Burgers and hog roast with an ice cream stall, plus the very well stocked farm shop on hand selling loads of bottled beers and some rather tasty pasties! We ended up having a picnic on the grass near the beer tent. Definitely family friendly and easy to park.

Brewers included Ascot Ales (go Camberley!) plus Chiltern, Iceni, Hogs Back, Loddon, Rebellion, Sambrook's, Surrey Hills, Tring, Twickenham Fine Ales, Vale, West Berkshire and the recently started Windsor and Eton. For ciders and perry there were Salt Hill, Ciderniks, Tutts Clump, Millwhites and Hecks.

Worth noting that the 4th Ascot Racecourse Beer Festival was being advertised, and will take place on Friday and Saturday 24-25th September. Sounds like a good spot for Ascot Ales! Its a bit closer to us, but it would be nice to see a Camberley real ale event before long.
