Earlswood Park, alongside Notcutts Nursery, in Bagshot, contains a new Sentinel development of 55 general needs and 36 shared ownership properties built by Charles Church. The programme began in March 2010 and is due to be completed by March 2012, just in time for the London Olympics!

Earlswood Park is the first affordable housing to have been built in the area for two years and also provides many new part-buy, part-rent homes to help people get onto the property ladder.

There is a variety of accommodation available but as an example a two bedroom apartment will be available from £74,000*

Some of the homes have now been completed and the next phase will be ready in April this year.

Green homes

All new homes will meet the Code for Sustainable Homes, level 3, which means that the homes must be 25% more energy efficient than a house built in 2006.  The homes will also be designed to use less water, use environmentally friendly materials and ensure that waste water and household waste is effectively managed.

A green space adjacent to the area has also been protected as part of this project.

Investing in the community

Earlswood Park is accessed from the A30, London Road, where a traffic lit junction is to be installed, and the plan includes a 7.5 hectare landscaped open space. Developer contributions will provide two new bus shelters, better footpaths to the railway station, school places, drainage improvements and a management company will be set up to look after the new park.

*based on purchasing a 40% share, and paying a subsidised rent on the remaining shares. Price valid until 22nd March. Eligibility conditions apply.
