Inclusive cycling sessions with Surrey Wheels for All and R-U-Able 2 Community Group

Surrey Wheels for All is a working partnership between Cycling Projects and Surrey County Council. This nationally recognised programme makes cycling accessible to all and provides a range of adapted cycles, making cycling an option for people who find other forms of physical activity difficult.

R-U-Able 2 Sport Makers are very keen to promote new sporting opportunities and are very happy to support Surrey Wheels for All who are planning a number of new weekly cycling sessions to run across Surrey over the next 3 months. The aim of the project is to enable people of all ages who may have reduced / impaired ability whether physical or mental or who may otherwise be socially excluded to enjoy the benefits of cycling on a regular basis. Some of the bikes are tandems, so with two riders pedalling, both can benefit from cycling's positive effects on circulation, muscles and general health and allow each rider to contribute according to ability. So your partner doesn't have to struggle to keep up.

Registration is required and a place allocated so please ensure you send back your request by email to ensure your place is approved & a place reserved at least one week prior to the session.

The session will provide opportunities;
 To try out a range of adapted cycles
 To find out more about accessing the service on a regular basis
 To be a part of a fun and inclusive family activity
 To find out about potential training available and how to access the adapted bike fleet yourselves.
 To get involved as a volunteer or supporter of the project
