There is a famous song about The Camberley area and the Band that Performed and Wrote it are coming to the Agincourt on the 28th may. The Members wrote and performed "Sound of the Suburbs" in 1979. It has since sold well over a Million Copies. the Lyrics tells the story of a young boy growing up in the area and annoying the neighbors with his punk rock electric guitar and then going on to become a star. The Song has become so popular that it has entered the hymnn book of classic English Rock, with countless bands performing covers of the song... there even are a couple of Bands calling themselves sounds of the Suburbs after this classic Tune.

Although part of the punk/new wave scene the Members were one of the first Groups from that scene to incorporate Reggae in their set (the 1979 Hit "Offshore Banking Business") and were not part of the "dog on a string" hardcore punk scene that evolved in the 80's they matured and in common with The Clash diversified their sound even later worked with the classic electronic producer Martin "Human League" Rushent.
