following on from the Governors voting 'no' to the merger, SCC backed down and stopped the Consultation into closing down Kings International.
2 -0 to people power.
CAM are now working hard to bring closure to this whole fiasco by ensuring theat Kings has a bright future in the hands of an academy provider, who will market Kings and nurture its unique qualities as a caring community school. We are very much hoping that Oasis Community Learning will be taking on this role.
I am proud to have been a part of the CAM group, who worked so hard during this campaign. The amount of time, energy, money, sheer will-power and determination used in this campaign is immeasurable.
Our motto was CAM - Working together to remain Separate - our mantra now is 'YES WE CAM@!
Thank you to all of the Surrey Heath residents who supported us - SCC will think twice before taking us on.
