A CHARITY store that helps stop valuable vintage furniture and bric-a-brac ending up in landfill sites is to open in Camberley.
Surrey Reuse Network has launched the Home from Home furniture store in Camberley.
Vintage furniture destined for landfill sites are among items sold in the unusual store which opened on Wednesday (November 21).
Home from Home furniture and homeware shop officially opened at 4pm on Wednesday (November 21) in High Street.
The new store, which also sells locally produced crafts, is part of an initiative by Surrey Reuse Network (SRN), in collaboration with Surrey County Council and Surrey Waste Initiative.
The network sells some of the 3,000 tonnes of potentially re-useable furniture and white goods that gets thrown away in the county each year.
