The competition which celebrates life in the borough, will be judged in two categories; young photographer - under 18 years old - and adult photographer - over 18 years. There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
Judging will consist of officers from Surrey Heath Borough Council and members of Windlesham and Camberley Camera Club.
The winners will win a canvas print of their photograph and will be invited to a Winners Workshop led by photography professionals and experts.
Their work will be proudly exhibited at Surrey Heath Museum from July 5 where postcards and photo-books of the entries will be available to purchase.
Cllr Craig Fennell, Surrey Heath Borough Council's portfolio holder for leisure, said: "This is a great chance to show off our borough and your photography skills. Surrey Heath is an area full of great people and places and we are really looking forward to seeing the variety of entries the competition gets".
