The No Trick or Treat Card produced by Surrey Police
Surrey Police and Surrey Fire and Rescue Services under the umbrella of the Safer Surrey Heath Partnership will be holding a Creepy and Crafty Halloween event during the school half-term.
There will be free face painting, Halloween biscuit making and safety advice available for visitors to the stand at the Atrium in Camberley town centre, on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 October between midday and 3pm.
The stand will be staffed by neighbourhood officers from Surrey Police's Youth Intervention team together with fire service officers.
Surrey Police has produced a 'no trick or treat' window card that will be available for people who do not want to be disturbed to take away and display on their door or window. They have also produced a leaflet "Top Tips for a safe and enjoyable Halloween" with tips for children, parents and general safety tips.
Surrey Heath Neighbourhood Inspector James Norbury said: "While Halloween and Bonfire night can be an enjoyable time for many, there are lots of considerations for people to think about. We are asking the community to stay safe while having fun as well as respect other people, including those who are vulnerable or don't want to be disturbed."
