Man struck by car near Camberley train station

A MAN was struck by a car near Camberley rail station on Saturday (October 6).

The collision in Pembroke Broadway, which involved a blue Renault Clio and a pedestrian, was reported to police shortly after 4.40pm.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken by ambulance to Frimley Park Hospital with leg and head injuries.

The road was closed at the junctions with High Street and Park Street and was expected to reopen within the next hour.
