Frimley Lodge Park has recently received the prestigious Green Flag Award for the 11th consecutive year! The Green Flag Award recognises how well the park is maintained and managed as well as the excellent facilities it has to offer all its users. We in Camberley are also lucky enough to have another Green Flag Award winning park close by - the Sandhurst Memorial Park and Shepherd Meadows

Frimley Lodge Park Rangers join children, The Mayor of Surrey Heath Councillor Tim Dodds and Glendale Contract Manager Richard Smith (in white shirt)at the Frimley Lodge playground to celebrate winning the Green Flag Award!
Cultural and Commercial Services portfolio holder, Cllr Craig Fennell said: "This is another superb achievement for the borough"
"I'd like to congratulate the Surrey Heath Green Space team, volunteers and our contractors Glendale for their hard work, which has resulted in the Council gaining the award for the eleventh year in succession. This recognition highlights the fact that Frimley Lodge continues to be Surrey Heath's 'Jewel in the Crown' as well as being a great place for the community to visit and enjoy".
Adding to the success the recently opened Pistachios Café in the park pavilion has just been awarded the maximum 5 rating for food hygiene by the council. The stylish new café is open during park opening times, serving a wide range of quality snacks, lunches and drinks.
To help celebrate the Park's 11th award in 2011, users of the park can enter a competition to win 11 great prizes. To enter just pick up one of the special entry cards from Pistachios Café or the Council Offices on Knoll Road, complete the 11 activities listed on the back and hand it in with a chance of receiving a fantastic family bundle of prizes.
