Camberley set to pay tribute to fallen and injured comrades

RESPECTS will be paid to lost servicemen and servicewomen with remembrance events in and around Camberley throughout the weekend.
Remembrance Services and events take place across Camberley this weekend.
A Help for Heroes Remembrance Walk takes place on Saturday, November 10 from 10am to 4pm from West End Sports Centre in Benner Lane.
A choice of 2.5 or 5 mile walks on Brentmoor Heath are available with registration from 10am. The latest set off time will be 2pm.

On Sunday, Remembrance Services will be held at St Martin's Church, in Old Dean, Camberley, from 10am. An Act of Remembrance will be held at 10.50am at St Paul's Church, in Crawley Ridge, Camberley. St Anne's Church in Bagshot will also be holding its Remembrance Service.
A Remembrance concert in support of Help for Heroes will be held at High Cross church, Knoll Road, Camberley, on Sunday night from 7.30pm. The event has been organised by Surrey Heath Choral Society and entry fees are £12 or £5 for students.

Meanwhile, the following road closures and diversions will be in place in Camberley on Remembrance Sunday.
The length of London Road (A30) between its junctions with Knoll Road and Charles Street will be closed to traffic between 3pm and 4.30pm.
The High Street from St George's Road to the A30 London Road will be closed from 3pm to 4.30pm and traffic will be diverted via Knoll Road.
For eastbound traffic on the A30 London Road diversions will be via Charles Street, Southwell Park Road, Pembroke Broadway, Portesbury Road and Knoll Road.
For westbound traffic on the A30 London Road, diversions will be via Knoll Road, Portesbury Road, Pembroke Broadway, Southwell Park Road and The Avenue.
Traffic parked in the High Street beyond St George's Road will be required to U-Turn at Park Street and leave via the A30 London Road/Knoll Road diversion.
