Camberley Theatre Are Looking For Stars Of The Future

On Sunday 9 September Camberley Theatre are holding auditions to find younger members of this year's Christmas pantomime, Peter Pan.
The audition panel are looking for juvenile chorus members, aged 8 years and over, to play the Lost Boys and Girls, plus a senior girls chorus aged 16 years and older, and four boys to play the role John and Michael Darling.
Successful auditionees will be performing alongside Disney Channel Art Attack Presenter JASSA AHLUWALIA and Emmerdale star FREYA COPELAND in this year's spellbinding pantomime. The children will gain fantastic experience working as part of a professional theatre company and have great fun too.
Those wishing to audition for the roles of John and Michael Darling are asked to send a photograph, along with their height, age and contact details to Trish Washer, Cultural and Commercial Services Manager, Camberley Theatre, Knoll Road, Surrey, GU15 3SY, no later than Friday 10 August. Suitable applicants will then be invited to audition on 9 September.
Those wishing to audition for roles in the juvenile and senior girls chorus do not need to register in advance and can just arrive at the auditions on 9 September. Juvenile chorus registration begins at 12 noon and the audition begins at 1pm. The senior girls chorus registration begins at 3pm and the group audition takes place at 3.30pm, auditionees need to be prepared to sing.
To take part all children must be 8 years old on or before the first day of rehearsal (17 November) and be available for rehearsals on 17, 18, 24 and 25 November and after school from Monday 26 November.
Dancing will be part of the auditions, so wear suitable clothes and shoes for movement.
