Biker seriously injured in Bagshot crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered a serious head injury in a crash with a car in Bagshot.
The collision was at 11.30pm yesterday (Thursday, September 6) outside the Cricketers Premier Inn Hotel on the A30 London Road.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident which involved a black Yamaha motorcycle and a black BMW. The rider of the motorcycle, a 54-year-old man from Maidenhead, sustained a serious internal head injury and after being assessed at Frimley Park hospital was transferred by ambulance to St Georges Hospital in Tooting where he remains.
The driver of the BMW, a 30-year-old man from Camberley was not injured.
The road was closed for an hour while officers investigated the incident and recovered the vehicles.
Police want anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the manner of the driving of either vehicle immediately prior to the collision to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference number P12262465.
