Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at Bagshot Methodist Church.
The burglary took place between 3:30pm on Sunday, 5 February and 8:30am on Monday, 6 February at the church and pre-school on London Road.
The offender/s forced open the fire doors to gain access to the property and once inside stole a number of items from the pre-school and main church area including mobile phones, digital cameras, CD players and a small sum of petty cash.
Detective Sergeant Chris Greatorex, of Guildford CID, said: "For thieves to target a place of worship is despicable. I am appealing for anyone with information about this offence or anyone who was in the area around Bagshot Methodist Church on Sunday evening (Feburary 5) and may have seen someone acting suspiciously to contact police."
